Sr. Manager of Beverage Operations

The Beverage team is a division overseeing Niagara's service of beverage products to retail and branded customers. We leverage our strong analytical and execution competencies, detailed knowledge of the product and market, our ability to build and maintain positive relationships and our knowledge of Niagara's core competencies to help grow Niagara's Beverage business.

The Beverage Operations Manager is responsible for the operational and financial success of their respective Beverage customers. This position will focus on the success of the Beverage business by working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, service and other success metrics are met, operational projects are implemented and sustained and effective change management is achieved in order to meet the company's strategic and financial goals. Working across the functional leadership of the organization, this position will design, implement and lead strategic improvement projects to elevate operational efficiency, overall service, and profitability.

Essential Functions

  • Leads programs and projects using innovative, agile and project management tools and techniques in the strategic development, change management and implementation of operations initiatives to ensure the organization's ability to profitably provide excellent service to customers.
  • Responsible for operational KPI Oversight (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Reporting, etc.)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Planning, Replenishment, Procurement, QA, Beverage Development, Manufacturing, Logistics, Customer Service, Sales, Analytics, IT, Finance and Program Management) to solve systematic operational challenges and drive strategic optimization opportunities
    • Lead cross-functional operational change management
    • Ensure proper resource allocation, drive prioritization, communicate progress and escalate as needed
  • Coach, support & mentor, along with providing strategic direction and insight, to cross-functional operations team members (Supply Chain, IT, QA, Finance, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Logistics and Planning to develop long-term, scalable solutions to service challenges
  • Identify raw material supply chain opportunities associated with lead time, quality, continuity of supply, RM packaging format, vendor flexibility and cost
    • Working with internal stakeholders develop strategies to improve supply chain and vendor performance
  • Monitor asset utilization against goals and collaborate with functional teams to drive improvement opportunities
  • Identify internal and external opportunities that may be enhanced or automated by technology such as supply chain visibility and communication tools such as supplier portals and EDI
  • In collaboration with Finance, Manufacturing, Inventory and Planning identify and quantify addressable areas of scrap
    • Identify and develop long-term strategies, processes, and initiatives to sustainability reduce scrap
  • Responsible for monitoring and reviewing monthly changes in costs and EBITDA of respective Customers to identify account specific optimization opportunities
  • Provide operational context to financial performance to Finance, Commercial Team and Executive Leadership and identify short term and long term actions to grow margin
    • Deliver EBITDA results through cross-functional execution and change management
  • Support planning processes and meetings as necessary

Pay Rate Type: Salary

$142,719.00 - $199,805.00 / Yearly

Bonus Target: 15% Annual
