The primary purpose of the Marketing Manager is to develop and implement customer-facing strategicmarketing plans in collaboration with suppliers and product management. This role is responsible for thesuccessful implementation of traditional and digital marketing campaigns for ChemPoint.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Partners with Product Managers to develop targeted marketing plans by industry team--30%

  • Defines goals
  • Conducts market analysis
  • Defines customer segments and determines target markets
  • Defines central initiatives
  • Develops value propositions and messaging framework
  • Builds and drives marketing plan

Executes plans to build demand and/or brand awareness--70%

  • Analyzes the best marketing channels for strategic execution of product lines and industries
  • Launches channel activities (Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Email, Online Ads and Social Media, etc.) to attract customers to our content
  • Develops new content to engage customers for existing and new product lines, industries and trends
  • Develops processes and systems to optimize the entire marketing process and conversion rates
  • Measures and strengthens conversion rates, sales cycle time, and leads generation

Key Partners:

Sr. Mgr Marketing--Area of responsibility performance; direct supervision

Supplier Partners--Engages with supplier partners to build and implement a strategic marketing plan, acting as an extension of their business

Product Manager / Industry Manager--Provides general marketing direction regarding product line and customer strategies

Business Development--Develops marketing strategy to grow the business portfolio

Technology--Co-develops dashboards and online marketing

Financial Responsibility:

  • Growth numbers for industry team from marketing including leads and new business

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Education/Experience/Training:

  • Bachelor's degree from fully accredited four-year institution or equivalent work experience is required
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic marketing, management and direct sales, preferably as a Market Analyst, or equivalent experience

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Proven understanding and experience of using PC and Windows OS
  • Proven understanding and experience working with MS Office Suite, with strong Excel skills
  • Expertise in developing and driving marketing strategies (primarily online, across all digital marketing channels)
  • Excellent ability to solve what appears to be unwinnable situations
  • Written and verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Ability to adjust behavior style to successfully interact with others when addressing challenges and objectives
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and propershort- and long-term execution
  • Knowledge of ChemPoint products, improved services and industries served
  • Knowledge of ChemPoint IT applications

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions/Other Requirements:

  • General office work environment
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time. Travel may vary in frequency and duration.

Pay And Benefits
The salary range for this position is $109,500 - $164,300 annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay. Available employee benefits include health, vision, and dental. We also provide 401k matching for retirement and paid time off.
