Solution Architect - Azure Data Analytics/Data Platform

Location:Headquarters - Indianapolis, IN

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and deliver end-to-end data and analytics solutions for enterprise clients. Discuss best practices and strategies for modern data and analytics with clients. Integrate data sources to build models and reports for business users. Configure and operationalizing cloud infrastructure in Azure. Speak intelligently on Microsoft's cloud data strategy and roadmap. Stay current on Microsoft technologies and modern data platform best practices. ***This position is 100% remote from anywhere in the U.S. *** ***Will accept a suitable combination of education, training and experience.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or computer related field, or the equivalent in terms of education, training and experience and 3 years of experience in data engineering and modeling in the positions of Project Engineer, Systems Analyst, Technology Lead, and Solutions Architect. Previous experience must include: data warehousing, data migration and engineering implementations using Azure and MSBI technologies like Azure Automation, Azure Data factory, Databricks, Synapse, Azure Purview, ADLS2, Azure Analysis services, SSIS/SSAS/SSRS; converting POS data to meaningful insights using retailer tools such as Krunchbox; orchestrating/designing data ingestion pipelines in Azure data factory from various sources into Azure data lake store/blob store; working on data modelling tools such as ERWIN/Dezign for databases in implementing reverse/forward engineering for health care /Insurance /utilities domain; working on Azure Purview registering sources /classification rules/scanning various sources; using stream analytics using event hub while streaming real time ingestion; writing Pyspark, Synapse dedicated/ serverless pools procedures/ functions/ notebooks; and trouble shooting performance issues and load bottlenecks.
