Job Summary



VSolvit has an opening for a General Clerk III to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona Division customer in Norco, California. These individuals will support NSWC Corona's Human Resource Office and their administrative requirements to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with end users as well as with the team. This position works onsite.


As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these are, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), and staying focused on the assigned tasks including company meetings, and completing other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative and clerical support
  • Provide front desk customer support
  • Download and interpret a variety of reports from HR systems and provide the results to management
  • Assist with new hire onboarding tasks of reviewing documents, verifying information, and other coordination activities
  • Provide records management and forms management support to include inventory, destruction, file placement, training, and overall program administration and maintenance
  • Support development of training and marketing materials
  • Liaison and technical support during business process meetings, teleconferences, and events

Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum of 1-year clerical support experience within a professional office environment
  • Minimum of 2-years Microsoft Office suite experience including (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong Customer Service Skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Access.
  • A team player and possess a strong ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team as well as work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills with experience interacting and supporting government clients.
  • Experience presenting information orally to groups
  • Experience using the HR systems (DCPDS, USA Staffing, HRlink, and TWMS)
