Acara Solutions has an opening for Recovery Technician D for Alstom Transportation in Phoenix, AZ.

Here's what you'd do:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Turnkey Spares Engineering Coordination
Coordinate Alstom's spares list at the Turnkey level. Activities include:
- Understand Alstom's contractual requirements as laid out in the subcontract for the OMJV.
- Understand the contractual warranty spares required per the technical provisions.
- Understand the contractual Extreme Loading Spares
- Assist T&C in determining the appropriate number of spares.
- Review and make recommendations on warranty spares for Turnkey, Signaling and Infrastructure, and Rolling Stock.
- Perform RAM analysis as required to support spares analysis.
- Track and report total spares ordering effort. Ownership of each subsystem remains with the subsystem leads. If obsolesce parts are found, coordinate with the subsystem lead to determine appropriate replacement. Project Management will provide required information.
- Coordinate between the divisions and procurement all technical information to guarantee technical requirements are considered and included in the Purchase order that will be placed.
2. RAM support
While no specific RAM deliverables are required for the project support is needed in several areas.
- Review and support Fault Tree Analysis for the S&I division
- Support the Turnkey/S&I Safety Assurance leads as required for calculations to support additional fault trees, FEMECAs and other deliverables.
- Support further Presence Detection Qualification or other efforts where RAM tasks are involved.

Pay rate: $110/hr
