The Economic Science Institute at Chapman University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow in Economic Science, beginning August 2024.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with ESI faculty on developing novel behavioral experiments
• Design, program, and run online and laboratory experiments using human subjects
• Collect and analyze data on subject behavior and prepare manuscripts for publication in peer reviewed journals
• Coordinate with Chinese academic affiliates to have experiments run in China and manage transfers of this data to ESI

Required

• PhD Economics with an emphasis in experimental economics and game theory or industrial organization
• Bilingual English/Chinese
• Programming skill in Z-Tree, Python, Stata, Mathematica
• Experience conducting laboratory and field experiments
• Teaching experience in Statistics, Econometrics or Data Analysis
