Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Manager to manage our Sharing Economy claims TPA. This is a fully remote position in the U.S.

What you will do for C&F:

    The Claims Manager will work collaboratively with the TPA's front-line claim personnel, TPA claim managers, and customers to execute on enterprise-wide initiatives to impact bottom line financial results.
  • The Claims Manager will ensure there are appropriate and timely coverage/reserve reviews, claim investigations, analysis, damages assessments and disposition strategies with action plans to ensure fair and equitable resolutions.
  • For claims in litigation, the Claim Manager will ensure panel attorneys are assigned and litigation management strategies are developed and executed.
  • Overall, the Claims Manager must exhibit and provide guidance and direction to TPAs reflecting prudent business strategies and sound judgment.
  • Oversight of the following types of claims include but are not limited to Sharing Economy and Business Auto BI, UM/UIM, PIP & Med Pay.
  • Preferred experience in CGL for Equipment & Premises Liability, Auto Property Damage, Cargo, Collision, Comp, Marine, Environmental, Freight Forwarding.

What you will bring to C&F:

  • Five years in a claims supervisory/management role to include all aspects of the above noted types of claims.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • The ideal candidate should also possess a minimum of ten years' experience in a Technical/Adjusting claim role.
  • Proven demonstration of creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
  • Proficient with use of computers and Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to lead and work in a cooperative manner.
  • Adapts easily to change.
  • Willingness to go beyond the expected to get the job done.
  • Travel as needed.

Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $55,800.00 to a maximum of $127,000. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee's contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
