This role will be on the inpatient APP team working with the Neurology team to address the needs of stroke patients and patients who are experiencing acute neurological changes throughout the hospital.
Salary range : $72.77-97.92/hourly
Qualifications
CA PA License- required
National PA Board Certification - required
Graduated from an accredited PA Program (Master's Degree preferred)- required
NPI #, DEA #,
Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES
1 year neurology experience as a PA- required
BLS and ACLS certification from AHA or ARC-required
Previous Stroke Team experience - strongly preferred
NIHSS Certification - required
Ability to utilize excel, word and other software program-required
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel-required
Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction-required
Ability to set prioritiies-required
Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence-required
Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner- required
