Salary: $21-$28/hr DOE

Interpretation of internal and client requirements for polishing
• Operating polishing equipment
• Clean and inspect Test specimens
• Maintaining accurate and systematic records
• Performing other duties to fulfil the demands of the laboratory
• Performing general duties in accordance with Element's internal procedures, quality as well as Health and Safety system

This is a fast-paced environment, and we need someone who is proactive, self-motivated and a team player. The person for this role will be a specialist in their field, respected by all who they work with, keen to learn and enthusiastic in the face of challenge. You will need :

• Educated to a good general standard including English and Math
• Hands-on job
• Previous experience in an appropriate Engineering environment is a distinct advantage
• Experience of working within a Mechanical testing environment is advantageous
• Self-motivated Technician with the ability to multi task, organize and work under the pressure of a busy commercial mechanical test laboratory
