As the Facility Security Officer, you will manage all aspects of DoD program security at our Santa Clarita, CA. facility within PPG Aerospace. You will ensure compliance with government and company security procedures. You will be fully onsite at our facility and you will report to the Industrial Security Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement local compliance procedures according to the NISPOM and DoDM 5205.07 SAP Manual regulations, and PPG corporate procedures.
Manage all DoD and Program audits and ensure compliance with the NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 SAP Manual and customer requirements
Ensure all corrective actions are addressed and any risks or vulnerabilities are avoided
Monitor the physical shipment of product based on program requirements
Manage physical security safeguards for protecting personnel, information, and property following government requirements
Report any violations to the appropriate Government agencies
Direct security measures necessary for implementing applicable requirements of the NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 SAP Manual, and related federal requirements for classified information.
Develop and administer a comprehensive security education training program and provide training and briefings consistent with applicable requirements.
Prepare, issue and track DD254s and audit subcontractor security programs as applicable
Perform administrative responsibilities, to include maintaining up to date information in the National Industrial Security System (NISS) and submitting personnel incident reports and initiating personnel clearances in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
Manage special US Post Office box for the transmission of classified materials
Ensure safeguarding of classified or sensitive items, including compliance with NOFORN regulations
Qualifications
DoDM 5205.07 SAP Manual (Volumes 1-4) security regulations.
US Citizen
High School Diploma
Current Security Clearance required
Experience with NISPOM and JAFAN preferred
Travel up to 15%
Ability to obtain level 1 Cyber Certification
Salary Range $100,000-$115,000 plus annual bonus
