Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the accounts payable function, overseeing the end-to-end payment process, from invoice receipt to vendor disbursements.
  2. Develop and implement efficient accounts payable procedures and policies to optimize productivity and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve invoice discrepancies, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate financial records.
  4. Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating payment terms and resolving payment-related issues in a timely manner.
  5. Analyze accounts payable data, generate reports, and present insights to key stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
  6. Mentor and guide a team of accounts payable specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high-performance.


Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as an accounts payable lead, demonstrating a track record of successfully managing large-scale payables operations.
  2. Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices in accounts payable management.
  3. Proficient in utilizing accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, with experience in implementing process automation being a plus.
  4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations.
  5. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build strong vendor relationships.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
