Overview

We are currently seeking a dynamic and accomplished professional to join our hard-working Product Design group that sits within the larger Product and Strategy organization. The VP of Product Design and Solutions will be responsible for leading emerging initiatives from discovery through case development and successful launch. They must have a strong presence and the ability to communicate optimally with internal and external team members alike.

The successful candidate will have a strong creative point-of-view, a passion for developing best-in-class products, a collaborative work style, and the ability to juggle the challenges of working in a fast-paced, ever-changing industry.

The position will report to the Senior Vice President, Product Design and Solutions

Principal Responsibilities
  • Work with creative team to think big and continually raise the creative bar.
  • Partner with internal collaborators across the creative, growth, and sales teams to create bold ideas that can become scalable executions.
  • Represent Aon in the market selling our solutions to prospective clients and partners.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and market developments and identify potential opportunities for product growth.
  • Help to maintain the highest design & solution standards and create a cohesive, consistent brand identity across Consumer Benefit Solutions.
  • Help to foster a culture of creative thinking and innovation across the organization.
  • Implement key initiatives from discovery through case development and successful launch.
  • Work with external partners to collaborate strategies and integrations to deliver best in class consumer solutions.
  • Focus on growth channels/opportunities .
  • Run design thinking labs and generate market analysis and quantitative data to drive future growth strategies forward
  • Maintain a high-level view across the business. Understand the complexities, dependencies, and opportunities beyond the Product team.
  • Inspire, guide, motivate, and mentor team members to ensure peak performance and professional growth.
  • Actively participate in key industry events, panels, and groups, reinforcing our creative philosophy, strategy, and objectives.
  • Network across the business to gather bottom-up ideas from the frontline colleagues
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing on new Go to Market collaterals
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • A passion for creativity, from conceptual thinking to final output
  • 5+ years of experience in a digital-focused creative role
  • 3+ years of project leadership experience
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Able to communicate effectively with highly technical and creative teams
  • Experience in Health Insurance Industry
  • Experience in Agile delivery and thinking
  • Ability to learn and lead designing and prototyping with a variety of tools such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, XD, InVision
  • Strong understanding of digital, video and social platforms
  • Passion for new technologies and new media
  • Great standout colleague with respect for others, yet able to work independently
  • Comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
  • Able to navigate escalations and difficult situations independently
  • An enthusiastic self-starter who is design-obsessed and detail-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position intended for U.S. applicants is $140K to $170K annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of [State/Region]. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
