Job Description:Broadcom is seeking an experienced analog mixed signal IC design engineer for its fast growing mixed signal ASIC business. The successful candidate will join a highly talented design team at Broadcom Irvine, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
As a senior member of the design team play a leading role in designing state-of-the art high-speed mixed signal circuits (PLLs, ADCs, DACs, etc) and solving technical issues
Translate product requirements into design specifications and system architecture
Support the customer interface in understanding application requirements and assuring technical feasibility during the product development phase
Work closely with the digital design team in architecture definition, behavioral modeling, interface and constraints definition, etc.
Drive floorplan and layout efforts using best practices layout techniques
Provide technical support to characterization, test, product and qualification engineers
Job Requirements:
PhD in Engineering with 3+ years or Masters degree in Engineering with 6+ years experience in designing high performance analog products in sub-micron CMOS process technologies (High performance PLLs, ADCs, DACs).
Demonstrated track record for bringing high-speed Analog/Mixed-Signal designs into high volume production
Strong understanding of device physics and design trade-offs (noise, mismatch, linearity, bandwidth, etc.)
Experience in high performance design layout techniques
Experience with system-level analog design including modeling behavioral operation of complex analog & mixed-signal circuits such as ADCs and PLLs
Experience with common lab equipment
Team player with excellent communications skills

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $91,200 - $152,000.
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
