Salary: $75,000 - $80,000

This position is open to CA candidates, Dallas and Houston, TX, and Seattle, WA. 25% travel required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assists with monthly, quarterly, annual reports, including monthly and fiscal close, internal and external audit reporting, report preparation and distribution
* Review overhead ledgers and submit journal entries to corporate to accrue, reclass, or transfer costs.
* Track and conduct Internal Control Reviews.
* Update weekly AR Aging report.
* Train new Controllers or provide training/retraining for Controllers that are struggling (system training such as My Finance and Anaplan)
* Assist with new unit openings in establishing the financial reporting expectations
* For closing accounts, make sure all financial components of the business are closed (balance sheet accounts, cash, assets and inventory, accounts receivable and vendor statements)
* Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent professional experience
* A minimum of two years of experience with revenue control and financial reporting
* Accounting experience in food service, hospitality, hotel or retail industry required, foodservice operations experience a plus
* MS Access required
* Accounting Receivable/Accounts Payable experience
* Ability to prepare monthly financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and analyses
* Experience with sales analysis and reporting
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Skilled at managing multiple priorities and relationships
* Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office with a concentration in Excel
* Conformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior
