Pricing Intern - Summer Internship (July 8, 2024 - August 9, 2024)

  • Hourly Rate: $20.00
  • Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 PM
  • Team Building / Volunteer Event every Tuesday evening

Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. (TABS) has an excellent opportunity for a Pricing internship from July 8, 2024 to August 9, 2024, working Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm) at our Lake Forest, CA headquarters. The internship will include a team building/volunteering event every Tuesday evening throughout the program.

Summary:

The Pricing Intern position is a temporary entry level role focused on processes, systems and controls that will learn departmental operations at TABS under close guidance and support. This role will provide a hands-on learning opportunity in managing software and hardware product life cycle. Under immediate supervision, the Intern will complete a variety of routine tasks in support of the goals and needs of the Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely under the guidance of Department Management and staff to provide research and administrative support including but not limited to entry level departmental tasks as indicated below:
    • File Management.
    • General Contract summary review.
    • Pricing agreement setup in Oracle.
    • Some pricing activities using Excel spreadsheets.
  • Learn about departmental processes and procedures along with corresponding controls.
  • Under management guidance, support entry level activities.
  • Work closely with management or more senior staff to learn how to generate and review departmental reporting (scheduled and ad-hoc).
  • Assist with special projects as instructed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Sophomore, junior, or senior level undergraduate student, or graduate student, attending an accredited college in good standing or recent graduate (within six months) of an accredited college.
  • Pursuing a Business Degree, or a closely related major (Finance, Economics, Analytics). Completed introductory Business and Finance courses and have a basic understanding of Business, Finance and Contract principles.
  • Proficient with computers (exposure to Microsoft Excel. Word & PowerPoint).
  • Effective communication skills with ability to work well in Team environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task efficiently and prioritize assignments.
  • A Team player and motivated to learn with a strong desire to take on new challenges.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated initiative.
