Position Objective:

Complete engine assembly projects to Porsche Motorsport standards using PAG and PMNA processes.

Responsibilities:

Primary

• Teardown, clean, prepare and assemble race car engines
• Inspect and crack check components
• Supply parts list for estimate creation
• Check tolerances using calibrated measuring tools
• Inspect and test ancillary equipment before assembly
• Complete all assembly reports accurately
• Record build data and hours on project

Secondary

• Offer build and quality feedback and suggestions

Education

• High School Graduate or Equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years general workshop experience
• Measurement gauge usage proficiency
• In depth knowledge of race car engine assembly
• Automotive Industry exposure
• Porsche product experience
• Technical manual understanding

• Highly skilled in mechanical assembly
• Team player able to work with other technicians and departments

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment on multiple projects with varying deadlines

The salary for this position is commensurate with the candidate's experience and falls within the range of $37.50 and $47.00 per hour.
