Expected Salary: $24.00 - $40.00 per hour.

Perform troubleshooting, repair work and preventative maintenance on all plant machinery, equipment and instrumentation to sustain plant operations at highly efficient levels. This involves working on equipment that includes mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and fluid handling systems.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Perform troubleshooting, repair work and preventative maintenance on all plant machinery, equipment and instrumentation to sustain plant operations at highly efficient levels
• Document project activities and prepare appropriate operating standards and/or maintenance procedures for all equipment and processes
• Complete documentation process for machinery usage, equipment maintenance. Maintain cleanliness of maintenance equipment shop.
• Maintain familiarity with state of the art manufacturing equipment and processes, and relationships with appropriate equipment vendors and suppliers
• Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule within the hours of 4AM and 9PM.
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE, CAPABILITIES AND SUCCESS FACTORS

• High School Diploma/GED required; Trade or technical certification preferred.
• Must have 8+ years of preventative maintenance experience.
• Must have working technical knowledge including hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, electrical repair and PLC.
• Must have excellent verbal and written skills.
• Must be able to coordinate multiple job effectives and handle detailed and broad range projects while meeting deadlines.
• Must have experience with software interface tools for Allen Bradley or GE Fanuc, PLCs and windows based software preferred.
• You will need to have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision required.
• Must be able to physically complete required tasks including standing for extended periods of time, stoop, bend, climb ladders/stairs, work on roofs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs, more than 25lbs with assistance.
• Must be able to locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Must be able to remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
• Must be able to adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
• Must be able to fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
• Must be able to maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Must be a US person (i.e. US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder) per ITAR requirements.
