What we need:
Brady Corp is seeking a Software Engineer Intern at our Plymouth, MN office who will be responsible for implementing and supporting the software team's delivery of high-quality code. The individual will assist in various engineering duties, including but not limited to: the research and investigation of software solutions, software design, software development and debugging, software maintenance, documentation, and other duties appropriate to the individual's level of education and experience. All engineers are required to follow Brady's software development process, which includes our iterative development approach.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leverage C# .NET and Microsoft's Visual Studio environment
  • Utilize object-oriented coding techniques, follow coding standards, and follow development best practices
  • Support other development and quality assurance team members with expertise in code and functionality
  • Performs code reviews and follows all development processes
  • Setup and use software code debuggers and profiling tools

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Working toward a degree in Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Knowledge of one or more object-oriented programming languages: C++, C#, or Java
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies
