POSITION SUMMARY | ||||
The Compliance Officer ensures the organization adheres to legal and regulatory standards, as well as internal policies and procedures. Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective compliance program that aligns with the mission and goals of UAII. The primary focus will be identifying and mitigating compliance risks, conducting audits and reviews, and providing guidance to team members on compliance-related matters. Additionally, this position will function as UAII's privacy officer, overseeing the development, implementation, maintenance of, and adherence to privacy policies and procedures regarding the safe use and handling of protected health information (PHI) in compliance with Federal and State HIPAA regulations. | ||||
