Description

Under the direction of the Manager of Health System Facilities, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing and/or installing major and auxiliary equipment to control chillers, high-pressure steam boilers, domestic and hydronic hot water heaters, cooling towers, motors, fans, pumps, controls, hermetic and semi-hermetic compressors and other specialized HVAC equipment to achieve maximum performance and efficiency of operation. You will inspect and calibrate operating controls, safety controls and all related auxiliary equipment for obvious damage, signs of deterioration and need of replacement to ensure safe, correct, and accurate operation. You will also prepare accurate written reports and maintenance records. Interact with staff, management, and the campus community in an effective and diplomatic manner. In addition you will perform duties utilizing appropriate safety practices. Other duties as assigned.


Salary rate: $48.32 / hour

Qualifications

  • Must posses a current Unlimited Los Angeles Steam License.
  • Minimum of 2 years in healthcare and familiar with medical terminology.
  • Experiencewith Hand tools, gauges, measuring instruments, water treatment test kits.
