As the Demand Planner, you will provide information, analysis, and recommendations to drive planning decisions during all phases of seasonal product creation. You will drive data and analysis inputs to cross-functional team members and Global planners to influence the Brand demand planning. You will utilize advanced forecasting techniques to analyze market and product trends to develop seasonal demand forecasts and long-range plans. In this high impact role, you will interface regularly with Merchandising, other Demand Planners in Regions, Retail and ECommerce peers, as well as the sourcing and regional fulfillment teams.

The Challenge

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Own Demand Signal
• Develop, integrate, and provide forecasts for internal buy operations. Involved in addressing forecast variances and improving forecasting accuracy.
• Analyze internal demand information and market & delivery performance through statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making tools. May involve compiling data and reports or being a consumer of such data to support decision making.
• Through forecasting and analytics, set, review, reconcile and/or execute demand, source, and buy plans in partnership with the Supply Planning teams. (To ensure demand plans translate into the right buy following the planning calendar).
• Partner with Merchandise Operations teams on-line plan management (optimization) in line with constraint driven planning. (Capacity, lead time, minimums)

Who are we looking for?

• Degree in Business or related field
• 2+ years of experience in forecasting, planning, buying, &/or demand planning in a multi-branded, multi-channel, international environment preferred
• Advanced working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

Base Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00

The indicated pay range is what Boardriders reasonably expects to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions will be determined based on a variety of considerations such as work location, work experience, industry experience, education, seniority, responsibility level, or similar factors.
