Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine (Clinician Educator) Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine Keck School of Medicine Faculty Los Angeles, California

The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine (PCCSM) at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California is seeking outstanding applicants for full-time night-time clinical faculty intensivist position. Candidates must be board eligible/certified in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, and eligible for licensure in California. Board certification in Pulmonary Medicine would be an asset but is not required. Successful candidates will have strong clinical and procedural skills and competence in all facets of critical care medicine. Faculty will be covering ICU patients and the Pulmonary/Critical Care service patients on the floor and will have teaching responsibilities to residents and fellows.

Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine is a busy and expanding Division within the USC Keck School of Medicine. Successful applicants will work with residents in multiple specialties, fellows in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, and advanced practice providers (APPs). Candidates will primarily provide care at Keck Medicine of USC including Keck Hospital of USC and the Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. Specialty programs include pulmonary hypertension, lung transplant, sleep medicine, interstitial lung disease, cystic fibrosis, and other advanced lung diseases presenting outstanding opportunities for teaching, participation in clinical research, and care of a diverse patient population in an interactive and collegial environment.

"The annual base salary range for this position is $260,000- $315,000. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations."
