Job Summary:

EMCOR Government Services & Helix Enterprises, under the joint-venture Helix Management Services, has an exciting opportunity at NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) for a Lead Maintenance Technician. Located on Edwards AFB -- the 2nd largest base in the Air Force -- the Lead Maintenance Mechanic will perform service repairs and preventative maintenance of mechanical systems at NASA's premier site for aeronautical research in Edwards, CA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Extensive knowledge of all building mechanical systems to include chiller and boiler system pumps.
* Extensive knowledge of building plumbing systems.
* Direct and lead maintenance technicians.
* Schedule maintenance technicians daily work orders.
* Analyze daily time sheets and work orders for proper completion.
* Schedule subcontractor's in for Preventive and Unscheduled Maintenance.
* Must have proficient computer skills to include CMMS programs.
* Must have effective communications skills.
* Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

* Must have 5 years of directing and leading personnel
* Must have a minimum of 3 years recent experience on a government facilities maintenance contract.
* Must be able to pass a company and site's background check.
