Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment. Small Projects - includes repairs, minor improvements, assembly, etc.
• Painting and Dry wall - Painting of small projects, dry wall & plaster repair, etc.
• Carpentry - repairs, doors, cabinets, hang pictures/shelves, etc.
• Electrical - Install or repair switches, outlets, fixtures, fans, lighting, ballast, etc.
• Plumbing - Repair or replace faucets, fixtures, pipes, plugged drains, etc.
• Other Facilities Services - ceramic and porcelain tile repair, flooring
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in commercial office building operations
• Good general maintenance skills
• Proven knowledge of technical terms used in plumbing and electrical
• Strong knowledge of building trade tools and equipment and good verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
• Ability to wear a company uniform and maintain a neat personal appearance
• Must possess a valid driver's license with good driving record.
