Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Clinician Educator) Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics-CHLA Keck School of Medicine Faculty Los Angeles, California

The Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of the University of Southern California (USC) and Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in the Department of Pediatrics, and Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP) are actively seeking full time faculty members for the positions of Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor of Pediatrics. The faculty would join our team of board-certified DBPs and interdisciplinary faculty and participate in the outpatient program to assess, diagnose, and treat mental, emotional, developmental, and behavioral health disorders. The Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics has presence in a Federally Qualified Health Center (AltaMed), and two outpatient Community Mental Health Clinics. In addition to the care and treatment of patients in the outpatient program, candidates will have the opportunity to participate in clinical education; teaching a wide range of interdisciplinary trainees including medical students, pediatric residents, and DBP fellows through our MCHB-funded DBP and CA-LEND training programs; and contribute to the academic and research efforts of the medical school and hospital. We are also members of the Autism Care Network, DBPNet, and UCEDD.

Candidates with training and experience in the diagnosis and continuing care of children and adolescents with a range of neurodevelopmental and behavioral conditions, including Autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, learning disorders, emotional/behavioral and sleeping/feeding difficulties, among others, are preferred. Applicants should have a major interest in provision of clinical care, have excellent communication skills, enjoy teaching pediatric residents and medical students and have an interest in developing academic research.

Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics. Additionally, applicants should hold a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of California.

CHLA serves as the principal pediatric referral resource for children and adolescents in the Southwestern United States, and is recognized for its advances in pediatric care, teaching, and research. "The annual base salary range for this position is $95,904-$325,712.
