Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.

Summary

A Treasury Management Sales Consultant will generate fee income by providing highly skilled and knowledgeable assistance to clients seeking or needing treasury management solutions. This will be accomplished by preparing presentations and proformas, conducting demonstrations and selling those solutions to the client; then collecting the appropriate documentation to support the implementation of that service.

The Sales Consultant is also responsible for sourcing new treasury management leads through lead generation analysis or internal data mining activity.

The Sales Consultant also trains (non-treasury management) internal business unit personnel so they are able to recognize treasury management opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
  2. Review, analyze and understand clients' treasury management needs. Conduct demonstrations as needed. Complete professional presentations and accurate proformas designed to educate the client of all appropriate treasury management solutions.
  3. Source new treasury management business generated by unsolicited calls to non Citizens Business Bank clients.
  4. Maintain extensive knowledge of all treasury management products and services. Based on experience and skill level the Consultant is responsible for supporting the larger more complex clients or deals and the sales territory or client assignment may reflect this.
  5. Manage calling schedule, complete pre-planning tasks as needed to maintain effective support of clients and business units in assigned territory.
  6. Provide professional telephone support as needed to treasury management clients and prospects.
  7. Achieve and exceed assigned goals and objectives with professionalism and skill.
  8. Submit appropriate documentation to identify client needs to all involved in the implementation process.
  9. Conduct training session regularly to ensure non-treasury management personnel within the assigned territory are able to recognize treasury management opportunities.
  10. Keep abreast of industry trends and competitive information in treasury management.
  11. Create an environment of trust with business unit partners and operational unit partners so they call you to discuss treasury management opportunities with their clients and trust you will sell and document appropriately.
  12. Understand the risk associated with all treasury management products and services and work with risk managers and lenders to ensure all risks are identified and mitigated.
  13. Be an integral part of the team and make a positive contribution to the department's and bank's success.
  14. Adhere to bank service level agreements, policies and regulations.
  15. Other duties as assigned by Treasury Management Sales Manager or above.
  16. Provide, present and promote The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.
  17. Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and database programs.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Current driver's license and auto insurance.

Salary Range:$87,612.00 To 124,846.00 Annually


40 hours per week.
