Job Description
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.

Summary

The Mortgage Loan Processor will provide assistance to the Mortgage Loan Officers and Underwriter(s) in the processing of residential real estate mortgage loan transactions. The Mortgage Loan Processor will also work closely with other operations staff, Applicants, Relationship Managers, Title Insurance Companies, Escrow Companies, Appraisal Department, and the Bank's Loan Documentation and Servicing Department to ensure all documentation is processed accurately and compliantly required for loan funding.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
  2. Proficient in use of Encompass (Loan Origination Software)
  3. Knowledge of loan processing review to be complete and accurate of information/documentation from loan submittal to preliminary loan decision.
  4. Preparation of residential loan disclosures and documentation in accordance with workflow, deadlines, and all regulations and requirements
  5. Order Title Preliminary Reports, Escrow, and Appraisals
  6. Review Title Preliminary Reports for liens, encumbrances, clouds, and other exceptions with providing recommendations to correct if necessary.
  7. Follow up timely with applicant and Mortgage Loan Officers to clear Conditional Loan Approval conditions.
  8. Communicate and coordinate with Loan Document Department with title/escrow through loan funding
  9. Obtain all other necessary information and documentation to process and complete loan file. Upload to Encompass.
  10. Maintain and organize their pipeline of loans are moving timely through the workflow and compliant for accurate reporting for pipeline management.
  11. Provide, present and promote The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.
  12. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or GED, and a minimum of two years' experience as a Residential Loan Processor. Plus working knowledge of Encompass software.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as title policies, escrow and loan documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers and associates of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Windows, Word, Excel and Encompass (Loan Origination Software).

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Valid driver license and proof of automobile insurance as required by law

Other Skills and Abilities

Ability to work with minimal direct supervision in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines.

Salary Range:$23.93 To 32.31 Hourly



40 hours a week.
