PRIMARY PURPOSE: To assist in performing mail room functions including processing incoming and outgoing mail; to maintain and order office supplies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Opens, sorts and distributes incoming mail.
  2. Collects and weighs outgoing mail to determine postage required.
  3. Records registered and special delivery mail.
  4. Assists with ordering of office supplies.
  5. Maintains inventory database.
  6. Maintains customer database for proper mail distribution.
  7. Stocks supplies throughout facility.
  8. Produces microfiche as needed.
  9. Supports the total performance management initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing
High school diploma or GED required. Drivers license required.

Experience
No experience required for entry level position.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
