Under the direction of the Applications Manager, the Applications Tech I will serve as the point-of-contact for front end application support to all healthcare applications managed by Biomed Services, Inc. The primary responsibilities include providing training, end user support, front end technical support, planning and implementation of application testing, installs and updates which would involve working with vendors and the internal IT team. The candidate will provide feedback to the team on issues pertaining to the system and ensure successful follow thru with vendors on support issues, deadlines, and services. The incumbent will help manage on-going growth and execute the implementation of new applications required by Biomed services as business requirements evolve and continue to assist subject matter experts by ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
Maintains a clean and well organized work area. Prioritizes and organizes Application documentation.
Communicates pertinent information to BSI staff. This will be accomplished in a positive and proactive manner and will ensure that all information required for BSI staff is available to accomplish their missions in a proactive, efficient and cost conscious manner.
Exhibits positive and proactive customer service skills. Understands the needs and pressures on the clinical staff in the account and works to ensure that the BSI program is viewed as an integral and important asset to all staff in which he or she comes in contact.
Completes all systems maintenance. Makes sure all procedures are up to date.
Input/Alter/Manage/Custom BSI applications as requested by BSI Management
Exhibits the technical skills required to support Bio-Med staff in maintaining Biomed applications/reports/projects
Completes other projects as assigned.
